\nresista\u00ae elms are highly resistant. This must be verified regularily by independent institutions. In standardized tests all different varieties are inocculated with extremely high doses of the spores of Ophiostoma novo-ulmi compared to trees without treatment. It is not possible to have varieties completely immune, without die-back and wilting of leaves, but the re-growth the next year must be safe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nThe resista\u00ae elm variety \u2019New Horizon\u2019<\/a> so far has written a fantastic story: Since 1993 until 2016 more than 45.000 trees have been planted throughout Europe and so far not one<\/strong> tree was reported dead due to Dutch Elm Disease.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
