With Skill and Care

All resista® elms are produced in Darmstadt by our experienced staff. The first premise is a carefully prepared mother plant of which the cuttings are taken.

After the first few weeks in greenhouse with controlled temperature and humidity the the well rooted cuttings are transplanted on land under tunnel and harvested in autumn of the same year after the leaves fell off. During the whole process the plants are being carefully pruned.

Then they are selected in checking roots and stems for planting in the nursery early next spring. They grow in rows with optimum spacing, put on a bamboo stick and regularly pruned for the next two or three years.

Then they have reached a circumference of 8-10 cm and can be shipped to our partner nurseries throughout Europe.
